“Working the body from inside out” Joseph H. Pilates
Joseph Pilates invented his renowned technique in the early 1900’s and his original techniques are combined with a modern, functional approach to health and fitness.
Our mat classes are based around the original 34 exercises that Joe created and are taught from a rehab, modern to classical Pilates approach.
Pilates helps to develop:
- Core strength
- Body awareness
- Posture alignment
All our Mat Classes are mixed ability and have no more than 10 people in a class, which keeps them small enough to adapt exercises accordingly to each individual ability and fitness level.
We have the following weekly Mat Classes:

NB: * class is 50 minutes. All other classes are 1 hour
